Ana Nakashidze has over 20 years of extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, both in the public and private sectors.
Ms. Nakashidze is the Chief Executive Officer of AzerTelecom. She has joined AzerTelecom in 2018 as the Deputy CEO and was in charge of the operations from 2018 to May 2020. Prior to this, she served at leadership positions at various telecom operators in Georgia, both fixed and mobile.
Ms. Nakashidze has extensive experience in the public sector and consulting. She led an initiative of the Government of Georgia to increase internet penetration in rural areas and held various positions at the regulatory body. She has also held various consulting positions at the local and international institutions, such as the World Bank, EC, etc.
She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunications engineering from Georgian Technical University.
